Lobby for rent control, just-cause eviction laws, and eviction defense. Join networks like Tenants Together to strengthen protections.

Get involved with land trusts like the Champlain Housing Trust or explore starting one in your city to keep housing permanently affordable.

Explore and support housing co-ops, mutual housing associations, or shared ownership models as alternatives to speculative markets.

Support legislation at local and national levels for affordable housing development, eviction moratoriums, and homelessness prevention programs.
